Henan PLC, a professional football club based in the central Chinese province of Henan, has avoided relegation from the China League One (CL1) after securing a crucial victory over their opponents at home on Saturday.

The match was played in front of a packed crowd at the Henan Stadium, and it was a closely contested affair throughout. Henan began the game well and took the lead through a goal from midfielder Zhang Yuxiang in the 27th minute. However, their opponents, Shandong Luneng Taishan, fought back strongly and equalized just before half-time through a penalty kick by forward Wang Jiaxin.
