Hoffenheim responded quickly, however, as they equalized just before half-time through a goal from Szoboszlai. The Hungarian winger's strike from distance put the visitors level at halftime, but Leipzig refused to give up and continued to push forward in search of a second goal.

And finally, Leipzig delivered when Szoboszlai scored his second goal of the match in the 77th minute. His powerful header from a corner kick found the back of the net and sealed the victory for his team.

With this win, Leipzig moved up to fourth place in the Bundesliga table, while Hoffenheim remained in eighth position. Both sides will now look to continue their respective campaigns next week as they face each other again in the upcoming matches.
